As part of National Youth Arts week, and in collaboration with iMOVE and National Film Board of Canada, I did an installation involving a live feed camera to ‘The Big Screen’ where youth got to see their friends live on the big screen. There was a pop-up movie studio set up in a dressing room outside the theatre, where youth could go and enjoy trying on costumes and entertaining infront of the camera, while their community watched inside the theatre. There was also a microphone run out to the dressing room, so as to give intermitten audio context to what was on screen.
This was a preshow sort of entertainment booth.
